Summer SOUP '17: Neighborhood Revitalization

Neighborhood revitalization often consists of a lengthy series of community improvement projects, rather than a single, small initiative. However, just one committed person can start the reinvestment process by persuading friends, neighbors, and community partners to dedicate themselves to taking the reasonable steps toward a better place to live.

We are excited to present five projects that advance the cause of Neighborhood Revitalization and it’s contributions to our city.

Neighborhood revitalization provides a viable solution to the cycle of struggle making it impossible for many to achieve the American dream. Columbus SOUP seeks to advance the causes for these communities and highlight their contributions to our city.

Help fund events!

Be a sponsor

Whatever isn’t donated must be purchased. Because 100% of the entrance donations are used to fund the SOUP grant, we need funds to pay for other items, such as print materials, bowls, spoons, plates, table clothes, and pretty much anything else you can think of. It is due to the generosity of our sponsors that we are able to get these needed supplies. If you’re interested in sponsoring Columbus SOUP, let us know!

Volunteer with us!

Donate your time in support

Attend a SOUP, be part of the #greenspoonarmy, and give back to your community — all at the same time. By volunteering at an event, you’ll be part of an experience like no other. Help us present five amazing projects to our community and create an amazing night. Visit our Support Us page for more information!

Contribute to our raffle!

Donate an item to support our second place project

Have you been wanting your company to get more involved in the community? While the grant goes to the project with the most votes, our second place project receives all of the proceeds from our raffle. This mini-grant, which has awarded over $10,000 since our first event, relies on local businesses and artists to be a success. Have something you think would be great for our raffle? Let us know using the contact form!

Be a food sponsor!

Let us show off your skills

We rely on the generous donations from area restaurants, chefs, and individuals to provide delicious soups and any other foods that we have at our events. If you are interested in supplying food for an event, send us an email at: info [at] columbussoup [dot] org!
