Hey #greenspoonarmy — it’s Bryant here, sharing some exciting news about Sunday’s SOUP event!
As we head into our third year of SOUP, I think back to the early days when the raffle was a bit of an afterthought so that we could raise a little money for our deserving second place winners. Now it’s a serious part of the whole experience for both the presenters and for YOU. And this event has our biggest raffle yet — over $2000 worth of prizes from great local businesses.
These folks love the community as much as we all do, and they believe in the power of the #greenspoonarmy. These are our dear friends, whom we adore, and we are ecstatic to introduce them to you:
There’s no denying our love for Rose, our official photographer for each Columbus SOUP event. To put it simply, she’s the best in the business, and nobody captures magical moments quite like she does. Rose is kindly donating an hour photo session that’s worth $300. But don’t take our word for how amazing she is — check out her work for yourself.
Celebrate Local is the epitome of a community partner. They’re not just a retail store — they’re a small business incubator, and they mentor their vendors on how to be successful and sustainable entrepreneurs. They are longtime sponsors and supporters of SOUP, and we’re their biggest fans. Look for their local products gift basket at the raffle this Sunday!
This is not a gym. This is a small-group personal training studio, and they’re getting my life back on track. I’ve been going for about four months, and I’m feeling better than I ever thought was possible. These are the kindest folks you’ll ever meet, and there are no gimmicks, no sales, no hidden costs, and no meatheads. If I were you, I’d run put all my dollars in their raffle. They’re donating two months of their personal training services completely for free:
• Orthopedic assessment
• Tailor-made corrective exercises
• Private training session
• Unlimited small group personal training for 2 months (less than 5 people per class)
•Unlimited team training for two months
• 30-minute jump start nutrition session
Who knew Art.com was located here right outside of Columbus?! They offer the world’s largest art collection, and whatever your interest or decor style, they’re sure to have the perfect piece. We’re huge fans of theirs, and we can’t wait to see what beautiful piece of art they show up with at Sunday’s SOUP!
Our friend, Katie, makes some of the most beautiful handcrafted jewelry you’ll ever find. We fall more in love with every item she creates. She designs and constructs each piece using a mix of vintage and modern materials, and she’s bringing 8 pieces of jewelry to the raffle Sunday! Head over to her Etsy shop to get an idea of what you’re in store for.
Fashion Meets Music Festival is a two-day, four-stage festival featuring a variety of the best acts in live music and featuring some of the most talented designers in the country. The festival fuses two loves into one celebration elevating music and fashion into an experience featuring live performances, runway shows, local food, beverages, unique activations, and more. Our friends at FMMF are donating two VIP tickets, which include:
• Access to all festival musical performances and fashion events
• Preferred viewing areas
• Preferred restrooms
• Priority entry at the gate
We’re long-time fans of Little Star. Owner, Julie Seel, does things a bit differently than other bakeries: Their cakes and scones are baked in small batches using natural ingredients, fresh, seasonal, and local products, and no artificial “stuff.” In other words — these are the best cupcakes you’ll ever eat. Guaranteed. And our friends at Little Star are bringing two dozen cupcakes to the raffle! Just think… you could have one in your mouth before you even get out of the building.
In our opinion, Wholly Craft is the finest curation of handmade goods in Columbus. They feature over 200 crafters and artists, and they host a range of workshops to better their community. These lovers of all things local will have a gift basket at the 6/14 SOUP!
Our friends at Wayward Seed Farm made a huge splash at Spring SOUP with their incredibly generous donation of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership, and they’re back again this Sunday! With this $300+ CSA, you’ll share the farm’s bounty and get a flow of new vegetables and fruits throughout the season. Read all about Wayward Seed Farm and get those dollars ready!
