Columbus SOUP is headed to Easton Town Center in September to celebrate the opening of Columbus’ newest Whole Foods Market. As part of their opening week celebration (Grand Opening on September 2) we’ll be taking over on September 9 as a recipient of their 5% Days. Whole Foods Market is known to give back to the community, it’s one of the reasons we partner with them so frequently, and their 5% Days are just one of many ways that they give back. From their site:
First off, it’s a given that each store donates food to area food banks and shelters. We have food; they know how to get it to people who need it. Done. Then several times a year, our stores hold community giving days (otherwise known as “5% Days”) where five percent of that day’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit or educational organization. The groups that benefit from these 5% Days are as varied as the communities themselves.
In other words, shop with Columbus SOUP at Whole Foods Market Easton on September 9 and help us give 100% of SOUP event money back to projects in our community. We’ll have more information about our takeover headed your way soon: be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
