The theme for Fall SOUP is: TEEN SOUP!

We’re doing our homework—and need your help!

How will this help the community?

Jorie’s research will help Columbus SOUP serve our community better by highlighting new and innovative ways people are giving back. It will also help educate and attract fellow Columbusites to philanthropy and community empowerment.

How will this help Columbus SOUP?

By participating, you’ll be helping Columbus SOUP better understand our community needs around philanthropy and improve the way we host our quarterly events. It might even spark a great idea for how we can make a bigger impact on the city—between events!

What do participants need to do?

Jorie’s looking for people who have attended at least one SOUP event. You’ll meet her at a coffee shop for a 30-60 minute interview about philanthropy and Columbus SOUP, and she’ll be asking you questions such as:

  • What motivates you to give charitably and/or volunteer your time in the community?

  • What does “philanthropy” mean to you?

  • What or who influences your ideas about philanthropy?

I’m in! Where do I sign up?

We would be incredibly grateful to have your help. If you’re interested in participating, leave us a comment below or email Jorie directly at columbussoupresearch@gmail.com for more information.

Okay, here’s the fine print: Participation in this research is totally voluntary. All participants in this research must be over the age of 18. All participants will be asked to sign a consent form, but are free to withdraw consent and discontinue participation in the study at any time.
